Ellen Brenson (1896-1941)

Ruth’s sister Ellen, an orthopedic physician; her husband, Yakov Meltzer, a pianist; and their son Anatol (6 yrs. old). All three were killed by the Germans in Nazi-occupied Latvia.

 Ruth Brenson(1885-1941)

Born in Yelgava, Latvia. While temporarily staying in Moscow she met Stephan Kossman, whom she married around 1910. She had two children: Nora (b. 1911) and Leonid (b.1915). Ruth was killed in Riga by the Nazis.
